Fullbore Target Rifle
We shoot Target Rifle (TR) using iron sights, sling, etc. in 0.308 and 0.223 calibre in A, B and C grade.
For Fullbore (open sights), all shooting is done in single-shot mode, i.e., without magazines. The use of rifle magazines is prohibited on the range.
Our Fullbore practice routine requires two stages to be fired, with each stage consisting of 2 sighters + 10 scoring shots. This allows for a maximum possible score of 100.
We shoot under the auspices of the Metropolitan District Rifle Association.

Other MDRA Competitions
We participate in various MDRA competitions that take place throughout the year, including:
- Champion of Champions
- Festival of Sydney
- ANZAC Day OPM
SRC Club Championship
We hold an annual Sydney Rifle Club Championship competition in each TR grade and for those under 25 years.
Aggregated club practice scores are used for the internal club competition.
